Mental health and wellness is increasingly a top of mind issue in 2023, and recognised as a vital component to healthy living, so it was great to hear of three free mental health webinars on over the next three weeks: Psychosocial Hazards, AI in Mental Health, and Self-Care for Caregivers. Read on for more information!

In recognition of Mental Health Month this October, corporate health provider Arriba Group has announced it is providing free mental health webinars with a variety of mental health experts for job seekers, employers, supervisors, personal injury insurance personnel and allied health professionals.

While we’ve all heard about mental health being an important issue over the past few years, it really came to prominence for me when I heard about Cybermindz.org, the world’s first mental wellness program for cyber security professionals.

I covered its Sydney launch in mid-2022 here, its Melbourne launch, its US launch, its UK launch, last year’s Gala Fundraising dinner, and interviews with two US CISOs on the US launch.

So, any other activity in this space is definitely of interest to me, so it is fantastic to see more work being done in this space!

Arriba Group’s explains its webinar series “will cover diverse topics such as recent changes in workplace health and safety regulations, shedding light on evolving psychosocial hazards in the workplace.

“Another session will explore the potential advantages and challenges of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into mental health services, delving into AI’s role in enhancing mental health support while considering the associated ethical considerations.

“Furthermore, the significance of self-care within the caregiving profession will be covered, offering practical strategies for caregivers to prioritise their well-being.”
