Sydney, 22 November 2023 – LG Electronics Australia has launched its latest ‘Life’s Good with Optimism’ campaign with a celebration at its new Australian offices in Parramatta, Sydney. Following the global campaign launch in August 2023, LG is redefining ‘Life’s Good’ by empowering individuals to find positivity and cherish the small moments in their everyday lives.

The recognisable ‘Life’s Good’ slogan was first coined by the local office in 1999 and has had a long history of resonating with both global and Australian audiences. The term ‘Life’s Good’ takes on new meaning in 2023 and the company aims to inspire and motivate the next generation of optimists to embrace life with bravery.

Particularly resonating with young Australians who bear the weight of worldly pressures while navigating their own identity, the ‘Life’s Good with Optimism’ campaign conveys an emotive message of support to a growing demographic of Gen Z consumers with substantial purchasing power.

“For us, Life’s Good is more than a slogan, it’s a brand promise that has guided everything we have done since we introduced it 24 years ago,” said Gemma Lemieux, Marketing Director at LG Electronics Australia. “Optimism is about finding the light when things are at their darkest and the idea of carrying this through troubling times is important to us as a brand.”

Globally, we are acutely focused on enhancing customer lives through transforming into a smart life solution company, with innovation at the core. Our message is about inspiring and encouraging people, especially young people, to approach life with an optimistic attitude, uplifting them and creating a meaningful influence in their lives during challenging times.”

We are redefining how people live and interact with technology, and all of this is guided by the enduring nature of the ‘Life’s Good’ philosophy.”

To celebrate the launch of the ‘Life’s Good with Optimism’ campaign, LG teamed up with global ambassador and renowned musician and athlete, Cody Simpson, to share his story of brave optimism. Cody’s journey of defying expectations and courageously pursuing his goals demonstrates the power of positivity to overcome challenges and inspire fellow young Australians to embrace life with bravery.

Here’s Cody Simpson’s story:

Honouring the company’s vision for optimism, LG hosted an insightful panel for its Australian employees at the company’s new state-of-the-art offices in Parramatta, Sydney, featuring ambassador Cody Simpson, and bestselling author, keynote speaker and entrepreneur, Emma Carey, best known as the girl who fell from the sky. The discussion saw both Cody and Emma open-up about the pivotal moments in their lives where embracing optimism set them on the path to lead better lives.

During the discussion, LG Life’s Good with Optimism ambassador, swimmer and musician Cody Simpson, shared why the Life’s Good philosophy resonates with him:

“My life has been a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows, but optimism has always been my anchor. I’m a true believer in the power of positivity, and I’m proud to team up with LG to encourage Australians to embrace life’s challenges with a positive mindset. Life’s Good when you view every challenge as an opportunity for growth and to become a better, stronger version of yourself.”

Author, keynote speaker and entrepreneur Emma Carey also shared her inspiring message during the discussion:

“After living and fighting through some of the hardest days of my life, I’ve learned to believe in the possibility of good. In difficult times, there’s a million reasons why it’s easier to just give up and accept the path we are on. But my message to Australians is that if we can, we must.”

As LG propels into 2024, the Life’s Good with Optimism campaign solidifies the brand’s commitment to human-centric innovation and design, ensuring a continued dedication to delivering products that ignite optimism in the everyday lives of Australians.
