Samsung Australia is doubling its line-up of OLED TVs, offering an OLED for every room in screen sizes spanning 42-inches to 83-inchesm with 7 years of Tizen OS updates, adding to its dizzying array of top tier TVs.

Samsung Electronics is the world’s No.1 TV brand, and this year celebrates its 19th year atop the televisual totem pole.

Samsung is the Global No.1 TV brand according to Omdia, Feb 2025. Based on overall TV market share by manufacturer on an annual unit & revenue basis.

Although LG is the world’s No.1 OLED TV maker, as opposed to Samsung taking the overall top TV maker spot, Samsung is doing all it can to take the top OLED TV title, too, and has unveiled its full line-up of Samsung OLED TV models, bringing what it says is “its most expansive, intelligent, and intensely cinematic OLED range yet to Australia.”

In 2025, the Samsung OLED S85F series joins the S95F and S90F, enabling “more Australians” to experience what Samsung calls “the Samsung difference via bright and rich AI-enhanced picture and sound performance, sleek sophisticated designs, and endless entertainment possibilities.”

Obviously this also applies to Samsung’s customers worldwide, although given I am based in Australia, I receive Australian focused info, but every person in any country would appreciate those features.

In introducing the OLED S85F series in four screen sizes (55”, 65”, 77” and 83”), expanding the OLED S90F series to six screen sizes (42”, 48”, 55”, 65”, 77” and 83”), and topping off the range with the OLED S95F series in four screen sizes (55”, 65”, 77” and 83”), Samsung proudly notes “doubling its range offerings since 2024”, and states the expansion of its OLED line-up “reflects Samsung’s commitment to offer Australians a screen to suit every experience, room and preference,” although once again, Samsung is obviously offering these features to everyone, globally.

Simon Howe, Director – Audio Visual, Samsung Australia said: “We know that every Australian’s lifestyle is unique so we have expanded our OLED range to provide more sizes, more models, and more personalised AI-powered features so Australians can choose an OLED screen that’s perfectly suited to their needs.”

Howe continued: “Backed by a new 7-years One UI Tizen upgrade guarantee, Australians can be confident that their Samsung OLED TV will continue to offer value-long term via personalised picture and sound experiences and exclusive Samsung endless entertainment possibilities.

In its notes, Samsung states: “Tizen OS upgrades will be supported for 7 years starting from 2025, for products released in the year 2025. Please note that the upgrade does not cover hardware-related performance, features or durability.”

The promise of “Revolutionary Vision AI ushering in a new era of personalised viewing experiences”

Comprising Samsung’s most advanced AI powered 4K processors, the 2025 Samsung OLED range delivers the Vision AI promise to usher in a new era of TV experiences beyond conventional viewing. OLED S95F and S90F models are powered by 128 AI neural networks driving a suite of advanced features that automatically upscale picture and sound to the highest quality potential based on viewing room conditions and unique viewer content preferences.

As Samsung notes in the fine print of the image below, the OLED S85F is using the Gen 2 processor rather than the Gen 3 in the S95 and S90F, but none of them are slouches.

Samsung notes “premium features including Auto HDR Remastering, Real Depth Enhancer, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, and OLED Brightness Booster built-in as standard across all models, Samsung’s OLED screens analyse content played in real time, adjusting brightness, contrast, and sound, to deliver the best possible viewing experience without the need for manual adjustments.

“Furthermore, via Vision AI enhancements, Samsung OLED TVs will automatically learn a user’s preferred picture settings for sports, cinema and general viewing content, and intuitively adapt settings. The result is an incredibly personalised cinematic experience no matter the content source – live TV and sport, streamed blockbusters, or online and console gaming content.”

Setting a new standard of premium Samsung OLED picture quality

The 2025 Samsung OLED S95F features a new Glare-free coating, helping to reduce distractions from external light sources and thriving in bright Australian conditions.

Enhanced by it new processor, the hero OLED S95F is 30% brighter than its predecessor, exposing exceptional details in content that weren’t visible before. By analysing the data that exists within High Dynamic Range content, Quantum HDR OLED Pro makes those details visible at virtually any brightness. HDR Brightness Optimiser supports to maintain incredibly accurate colour and deep contrasts, even when there is bright daylight for a truly brilliant viewing experience.

The Samsung OLED S95F offers ultra-smooth motion for games up to 165Hz VRR. HDMI2.1 supports high-bandwidth sources, while AI Auto Game mode optimises settings for peak performance. Samsung Gaming Hub and Xbox Game Pass provide access to over 100 games without the need for downloads or consoles.

Compared to the 2024 hero, OLED S95D, the 2025 OLED S85F features the same powerful AI processor, unlocking the full power of 4K AI upscaling, yet comes in a new expansive 83-inch screen size.

All 2025 Samsung OLED TVs feature Pantone Validation providing assurance that every scene is experienced in accurate colour for vivid lifelike visuals. Immersive sound for a complete experience

Samsung notes its OLED TVs “are designed to not only deliver stunning visuals but also to create immersive sound environments. With the integration of Q-Symphony technology, the OLED S95F, OLED S90F and OLED S85F models sychronise with compatible Samsungsoundbars to provide rich, multidirectional audio experiences. AI Sound Optimisation continually adjusts sound levels based on the room’s acoustics and content, ensuring Australians receive an incredible audio experience, whether they’re watching a dramatic action scene or watching quiet dialogue.”
