The latest research shows the increasing demands of modern life, both at work and home, is affecting the cleanliness of homes, with executive director of The Mix, Bianca Mazur, joining me to explain it all in a video interview below – please read on!

With Australian homes amongst some of the largest in the world2 and long working hours – the recent study showed streamlining the time spent cleaning, while getting a superior clean is important to everyday Australians.
Despite the vast majority of Australians agreeing that mopping is important to keep their household clean (89%), more than a third (35%) of Australians agree that they usually neglect mopping from their cleaning schedule, favouring vacuuming once a week or more often (81%) over mopping (65%).

This was only exacerbated amongst parents – with three in five parents of young kids (under five years old) stating that they don’t have time to mop their home, and 69% declaring that they would mop more frequently if it took less time.
Sydney-based influencer and mother of three, Amy Gerard, shares how difficult it is to maintain a clean home with the demands of raising children.
