An Australian company that is even more well-known in the US than here is Roccoco Botanicals. Its new Frangipani and Lychee Creme is one of three finalist products, all in the running to win in the Global Alle Awards – an award it first won in 2022, and the first Australian company to do so. Highly awarded, natural beauty brand Roccoco Botanicals was first started by CEO and founder Jacine Greenwood on her kitchen bench in Brisbane, Australia, as an answer to skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and eczema.
Jacine launched the latest in Roccoco Botanicals in Australia – its newest skincare innovation, Frangipani and Lychee Body Cream, which is a 2024 finalist in the Cosmetics & Toiletries Alle Awards, with the full list of finalists here (confirming the three finalist spots for Roccoco, with the awards to be announced on March 6, 2024!)
Skincare products are one of the earliest types of technology humans created, and as is possible in the modern world, its products are all natural and cruelty free, with this new creme also pregnancy-safe – wowing users with its skin smoothing and tightening properties, which vastly reduce the appearance of cellulite.
My video interview with Jacine is below, as is a video of her speech, and a time lapse of the event is at the end, but first, Jacine said: “What’s different about this product over other body creams, is that it is safe to use on any area of the skin, wherever that may be. The formulation is high in fatty acids that boost the hyaluronic acid and moisture content within the skin, which rapidly restores elasticity and firmness.
“As with all of our products, they are all-natural and based on botanicals.”
As a Cosmetic Chemist, Jacine is well placed to create her award-winning formulations, with six Diplomas, a Bachelor of Nursing, and over two decades as a beauty therapist.
