It’s not just everyday people that are customers of Samsung’s consumer range of products, but businesses of all sizes, educational institutions, warehouse operators, field workers and everyone in between, in organisations worldwide, which are Samsung’s business customers, too – and business is booming!
From a military rugged grade and AI-enhanced new XCover7 Pro smartphone and Tab Active5 Pro tablet, with vitally important user and enterprise-friendly features, through to an incredibly advanced and massively interactive eBoard in 65, 75 and 85-inch sizes, a separate massive new 105-inch display in the 21:9 aspect ratio, the genuinely useful Samsung Dex capabilities, very capable new monitors, and the stunning new Colour E-Paper displays in a range of sizes…
And you have the most impressive range of Samsung’s new business products yet.
I’ll reprint Samsung’s media release on all the new products below (and it is here), which is an extremely well written document that fully explains all of Samsung’s impressive new offerings, but I’m going to tell you about these products in the order that we were shown them in the media tour we were given of all the new products set up and in action at Samsung’s dedicated “Beyond Business Boundaries” event.
So, why are Samsung’s new business products so good? Why do I call them the best I’ve seen?
The answer is simple. Because they are! We’re half way through 2025, in the most technologically advanced time in human history.
These products are at their most mature, capable, functional, feature-rich, beneficial and affordable, even though you will be paying a premium for products like the 105-inch display, and the new Colour E-Paper that uses 0.00W to display any image for over 500 days on a single charge, but that is to be expected for breakthough products that push the state of the art to its most impressive levels, yet.
So, what did we see in the order that Samsung showcased it to us?
- We started by seeing the new rugged smartphones and tablets, then the Interactive E-Board, then the new displays, and finally, the Colour E-Paper displays, so let’s go in that order.
I used a Plaud.Ai voice recorder to capture the event, and the points below were summarised by AI and further edited by me. The full Samsung press release is available to read in full after my summary.
In 2025, Samsung has aimed to balance durability and usability in its rugged portfolio, highlighting the IP68 rating, the mil-spec standard and the familiar Galaxy interface for frontline workers.

We learned about these features:
- Enhanced Speaker Volume and Anti-Howl Feature
A boosted speaker volume for use in loud environments and an anti-howl feature to reduce wind and ambient noise, ensuring clear communications. - AI Read Aloud Feature
A new AI feature called ‘read aloud’, which converts text to audio for hands-free information access, improving productivity for frontline workers. - Tab Active 5 Pro Dual Battery and Hot-Swappable Battery
We learned about the Tab Active 5 Pro’s dual battery system, allowing hot-swapping without power cycling, extending device lifecycle and supporting long shifts (e.g., 12-hour shifts). - No Battery Mode
The tablet also offers a ‘no battery mode’, enabling operation on permanent power without batteries, preventing battery expansion over years of non-use. - High Temperature Operation
And unlike consumer products, the tablet can operate at 75 degrees instead of the standard 65, beneficial for mining sites, kitchens, cars, and direct sunlight. - Galaxy AI Features
Asking about the AI features, it was explained the rugged devices have a streamlined set, not the full suite found on the S25, but that this was still naturally significant. - Moisture Resistance and IP68 Rating
Even with a removable cover, the devices maintain IP68 rating and pass full immersion tests, suitable for high-moisture environments. - Glove Mode
A ‘glove mode’ was highlighted, allowing screen sensitivity adjustment for use with protective equipment or wet screens, specific to rugged devices. - Front-Facing NFC
Samsung has also introduced front-facing NFC on the new tablet, enabling retail payments and credential verification for roles like crane drivers. - Enterprise Edition Range support
This Enterprise Edition range, which includes rugged, A-series, and S-series devices, offers a 3-year warranty (extended from 2), 7 years of Android OS updates, security patching, and 1 year of free KnoxSuite cloud management.
2. Then we were introduced to Samsung’s new 2025 Interactive E-Board, the WAF edtion.
- Interactive E-Board for Education
The successor to previous models, this new model has incredible annotation features, with a split note mode (up to 4 users, 40 touch points), Infinity Canvas, and AI Assistant with Circle to Search and Live Transcribe. - Have one user writing, and another user erasing something – at the same time
We saw the ability to for one person to be writing on the screen with one of presumably four styluses that can be used at the same time by up to four people, while another person erases something they’ve written, and the system being able to manage all of the inputs independently – something previous models weren’t able to achieve. - AI Features in Education
Being powered by a specially customised verson of Android, rather than Windows, we saw this models Samsung AI Assistant features: Circle to Search, Live Transcribe, AI-generated lesson summaries, and integration with YouTube and whiteboard for step-by-step lesson creation.

This new Interactive E-Board is available in 65, 75 and 85-inch sizes, and would be just as welcome in any boardroom, group work space or training room as any classroom, and was the very best example of an interactive whiteboard that I’ve ever seen.

3. Next up came a refresher about Samsung DeX, short for “Desktop Experience” for Samsung’s S-Series, its Fold series and presumably its XCover5 Pro smartphone, too, enabling desktop-like productivity via USB-C/HDMI, and supporting frontline and enterprise deployments. It’s corporate mobility and productivity without needing a separate laptop or computing device.
We also learned about:
- Enterprise Device Deployment and Security
Samsung explained its Suite for rapid deployment (e.g., 1,000 devices), EMM integration, 7 years of security patching, EPO tool for fleet patching, and asset intelligence for granular device/application monitoring.
4, After this came Samsung’s two new displays:
- Display Solutions for Corporate Collaboration
A 105-inch QBDX model, featuring a massive 21:9 ratio for an incredible display for foyers, boardrooms or anywhere you want to send a message and make a statement, and a new 37-inch monitor with USB charging and height adjustment, designed for enhanced productivity and collaboration in B2B environments – and which can even be rotated to portrait orientation.

- Retail Device Integration
Then we saw Samsung’s representatives describing consolidating retail workflows (barcode scanning, RFID, NFC payments, push-to-talk) into XCover devices and tablets, reducing device count and improving efficiency. - Augmented Reality and Multi-Scan in Retail
We also saw the ability to use AR features for product info when scanning a barcode to get more information, multi-scan for scanning up to 20 items at once, and find-and-retrieve functions (e.g., locating size 12 shoes), aiding less-experienced retail staff. These are real productivity boosters!
5. Then we saw the launch of Samsung’s Colour E-Paper Launch and the role and importance of digital signage in retail.
Here Samsung’s representative explained the new Samsung Color Colour E-Paper display solution, emphasising its versatility and energy efficiency for retail and other environments – and pointing out that the screens were on display all across the demo area – looking like really sharp signs in strategic areas elsewhere – expcept now we were at the actual presentation area for these stunning Colour E-Paper signs.

- Role and Importance of Digital Signage in Retail
Our speaker emphasized the significance of digital signage and ambience in enhancing customer experience and bridging online and physical retail, positioning Samsung Colour E-Paper as a complementary solution. - Samsung Colour E-Paper Product Features
We learned why Colour E-Paper is highly efficient, paper-like, battery-powered, rechargeable, with e-ink technology, featuring anti-reflective properties, and no need for constant power to retain images – nor any need for a backlight. - Content Management and Control
Our speaker explained the use of Samsung VXT CMS, including mobile UI, the ability for local or remote content updates, and the ability to change images in 10 to 15 seconds, with images retained without power consumption – at 0.00 watts for up to 500 days! - Technical Details of e-Ink Technology
Our speaker detailed the use of six color pixels in microcapsules, the rewriting process, and the device’s ability to sleep within five minutes to minimise power use – while the E-Paper’s image is crisp, sharp and colourful. - Applications Beyond Retail
We also heard about the ositive feedback from other sectors, including compliance messaging, workforce communication, and analytics for proof of play and message delivery. - Product Sizes and Roadmap
Samsung confirmed the launch with a 32 inch version now avaiable, with plans for larger and smaller formats in the second half of the year – in the US, smaller and larger sizes are available, with a 13-inch model, a 25-inch model, the 32-inch model we saw, and a massive 75-inch 5K outdoor model, too! - Mounting and Security Options
The E-Paper units have a 200 by 200 VESA mounting, multiple hanging points, and a Kensington lock for security in retail environments. - Charging and Power Delivery
Charging is done via USB-C, with two ports (one for data, one for 25 watt power delivery). - Supported File Formats and CMS Integration
In answer to a question, Samsung clarified that PNG and JPEG images are supported, with mobile CMS for local Wi-Fi use and Samsung VXT for remote content management, requiring an additional license. - Portability and Use Cases
Samsung confirmed the device is portable and suitable for various environments, including markets and food vans. - Image Rotation and Manual Control
We also learned explained that if multiple images are loaded, they can be set to rotate every five minutes by default, with manual mode available via a control button, and of course you can just have one image loaded so it only displays that image until you update it.
6, Conclusion
