Project Manda is an Aussie tech innovation designed to boost meeting productivity and employee wellbeing, and doing so with the help of AI.

Founded by Armin Sadeghi and Ed van Roosendaal, Project Manda is solving the common problems with meeting productivity within businesses.

Armin joins me on Talking Tech with Alex Zaharov-Reutt!

Here is the video interview and great discussion we had, details are below – please watch and read on!

I started by noting to Armin that we all know the drudgery of time consuming and unproductive meetings, so I asked Armin what is the problem he and Ed saw, and what is the solution that has been created?

Armin explained how AI does its magic, and how this solution wouldn’t have been possible a few years ago, before AI was at today’s levels of maturity, and certainly would have been much clunkier.

Noting the solutions from Otter.ai, Zoom and others to record and automatically transcribe meetings, separating speakers, creating generative AI summaries and more, I asked whether Project Manda had this feature too, or if it took advantage of the fact these platforms already offered those features.

Armin then shared what else Project Manda does which really moves the needle compared with anything else, and explained features and benefits that have been added to Project Manda since launching, due to customer requests, which weren’t part of the initial launch.

We looked at the costs of using Project Manda, and the types of time, money and productivity savings on offer, the AI tools it integrates with and plans for an API, as well as other features on the roadmap.

Armin shared details about the industries his customers come from, and their Australian and global nature, as well as thoughts on generative AI, the AI engines being used, upcoming developments with GPT-5 and open source models, anything else we needed to know, and Armin’s final messages to the viewers and readers.
