Australia’s 2nd-largest telecommunications company, Optus, has announced its new Smart Home initiative today, with a new O-Team at the ready to help customers.
I have an exclusive video interview with Aaron Neate, the Head of the Optus Smart Spaces and the O-Team, but I haven’t yet had the chance to edit this video and upload it, but I’ll have this up over the next 24 hours.
In the meantime, you can read about Optus Smart Spaces here, and you can learn about the O-Team’s services here.
You can also read the OpenSignal report on Australia’s telecommunications companies for Q3, 2023 here.
Although Telstra and Vodafone won awards, which you can read about above, Optus won awards for Overall Video Experience, Overall Live Video Experience, Overall Games Experience, 5G Video Experience, 5G Live Video Experience and 5G Download Speed, while also being joint winners in 5G Games Experience, as well as overall network Availability and Consistent Quality.
Optus has also won the 5G Download Speed award five times in a row.
